Pete and Frank Mahovlich Game Used Sticks ( 2 )

Pete and Frank Mahovlich Game Used Sticks ( 2 )

The left-winging brothers, Frank and Pete Mahovlich, helped the Montreal Canadiens to Stanley Cup titles in 1971 and 1973, and here we have each of their powerful sticks, with proof of their handling and scoring prowess. Pete’s is a Sher-wood P.M.P. 5052, with some sloppy and grimed tape atop, and “20” and his name stamped on front panel. Signed midway down, “Best Wishes, Pete Mahovlich,” in bleeding black marker. Blade is black-taped sparingly in middle, while plenty of fiber glass tape surrounds remaining area. Frank’s is a Northland Custom Pro, with a budding, nasty taping atop, and his “27” stamped just below. “Big M” is stamped down on front panel, with his signature on adjacent panel, “Best Wishes, Frank Mahovlich.” Blade sports a healthy amount of black tape. Both items have all-original tape, and are a very nice duo from two of hockey’s more famous blood brothers.
