Phil Esposito and Barry Beck Game Used New York Rangers Sticks
Phil Esposito and Barry Beck graced Madison Garden with these game-used sticks. What else do you need to know? Esposito became a crowd favorite with the Rangers despite making a Hall of Fame name for himself in Chicago and Boston. Barry Beck was a Ranger through and through, serving as captain from 1981 to '86. Esposito wielded this Northland in 1979 and signed near the handle, "To Rick All The Best Phil Esposito" in fine marker (9/10). Esposito is stenciled on the side, and the original tape jobs remain on the handle (white gauze) and blade (black gauze). Telling game use, too. Beck signed his Koho BlackFibre just above the blade but still on the fiberglass coating, "To Rick the Stick. All the Best. Barry Beck”. His stick, from the 1984 season, looks like it logged more than its share of shifts, too (9/10).
