Rare 1930s Babe Ruth Commercial Statue/Doorstop
Exceptionally good quality is evident in this extremely rare commercial piece that even Barry Halper did mot have. It is the only specimen known, we have never seen this before. Heavy plaster figural was done in the 1930s with amazing quality and detail. All in stunning black this is a beautiful piece in great condition with only some touch ups. Measuring 17.25" tall, it looks like a doorstop, especially with the flat back as if a giant bookend. However, it is made of plaster so we are unsure.
