Rare Bustin' Babes (Ruth) & Larrupin' Lou's (Gehrig) Image (1928)
Hilarious promotional photograph of the Yankee legends hamming it up in 1928 for their touring teams. Wearing uniforms that say, "Bustin' Babes" and "Larrumpin' Lou's" the two are on either side of three little boys dressed as cowboys. Ruth is stony faced but Gehrig looks like keeping a straight face under those circumstances is an impossibility! The 8x10" photo print is toned and has a wavy texture, especially around the edges. The image is still in great shape, though, and would frame to appear better than its technical VG-EX condition would indicate.
