Roberto Clemente Signed Photograph 8"x10"
Baseball's bond with brew takes on a Latin flavor in this 1960's real photo advertisement that reads "Roberto Clemente al bate con cerveza Ballantine" (Roberto Clemente at bat with Ballantine beer). In blue ballpoint ink the Pirates' future Hall of Famer and 3,000-hit club member has signed and inscribed in Spanish "With My Best Wishes-Roberto Clemente". His brilliant mark grades a near perfect "9" out of possible "10" and is one of the finest we have come across. The 8"x10" black and white photo uses grass as background on the lower half while Clemente's upper half becomes a silhouette against an empty background. Minor creases and wear can be seen on the upper left and lower right and corners though overall the photo is EX. Comes with an LOA.
