San Francisco Giants Baseball Original Negatives (1000+)
This collection is so massive and the subject matter so varied, it is hard to describe in limited space. It includes shots of individual players such as Jack Sanford, Billy Pierce, Mike McCormick, Bill Rigney, Sam Jones, Orlando Cepeda, and Larry Jansen as well as the Giants Dog Mascot, ticket sales, shots of the ballpark, fans, the mayor throwing out a first pitch, the team arriving at the airport, game action, practice on the field and countless more. All are housed in their original envelopes, often with players identified. About 80% date from before 1961, with a really nice selection from the Giants' first year team in 1958. Most measure 2.5 x 2.5" to 4 x 5’’. NM-MT.
