Sandis Ozolinsh 1996 Stanley Cup Finals Game Worn Av's jersey
This high-scoring defenseman remains a constant threat, and many would argue he played the best hockey of his career as a member of the Avalanche. After his trade in '95, he scored 50 points in 66 games to lead all Colorado defenders and their charge into the playoffs. There, Sandis led all defensemen in scoring with 19 points and won his first Stanley Cup championship. Offered is the burgundy "road" jersey. The chest is sewn with the Av's "A" team patch with the "1996 Stanley Cup Championship" patch on the upper right, both sleeves own both his number "8" and "Big Foot" logo patches, and on the back is "Ozolinsh 8". Inside the collar is tagging from "Center Ice" with "56-R" size tag below and on the tail features embroidered NHL and Starter emblems. Stick marks can be found on front and back indicating good use. Sandis has signed the front in black sharpie. LOA on Buffalo Sabres stationary stating the jersey was given to the Senior VP of the Sabres by the Avalanche trainer.
