Satchel Paige Negro League KC Monarchs Photograph (1943)
Original photo of Satchel Paige during his tenure with the Kansas City Monarchs of The Negro Leagues in 1943. Photo is horizontal in format, 10" x 8", and is in EX-MT condition with just a few creases, one on the upper right corner and another on the lower right corner. Photo depicts Paige choking up on the bat with his wide stance. Paige was the first black pitcher in the American League and the seventh in the big leagues overall.
