Significant Memorial Stadium Baltimore Wire Photos (2)

Significant Memorial Stadium Baltimore Wire Photos (2)

A fascinating pair of aerial wire photos taken of Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. The first photo has been diagramed with the distance along the foul lines and straight out center field and reports that as of 9/18/61 Memorial was a "jinx" ball park for Roger Maris. The second, 1966, wire photo reports that Orioles legend, Frank Robinson hit the first home run ever knocked out of Memorial Stadium on the fly. It is also diagrammed to show the distance (451ft!) the ball had to travel to get out of the park. Both photos are front captioned, measure 7x10" and are in mint condition.
