Soviet-Cuban Space Flight Presentational Watch
Russian wristwatch by Slava was presented to one of the Cuban Cosmonauts that went to the Soviet Union to train for the Soviet-Cuban cooperative space flight the Soyuz 38. Rolex style with beautiful illustrated face boasts the logo of this historic program. The verso is engraved (translated), "First Space Flight Soviet Cuban Conjunction." Three Cosmonauts went to the USSR to train, only one would be picked to go. Arnaldo Tamayo-Mendez was chosen. It was suggested he was chosen because he was black. Running and EX-MT. It is unknown which of the three this watch was given to.
