Spalding No. 000 Wagon Tongue Ring Bat

Spalding No. 000 Wagon Tongue Ring Bat

This turn of the century Spalding baseball bat boldly reads "No. 000" in dark, black ink underneath the Spalding logo printed on the bat's center. In EX-MT condition, this attention-grabbing piece has "PAT. APPd FOR" and "WAGON-TONGUE" printed in between the excellent, exceedingly readable trademark Spalding baseball logo. Weighing 42 oz. and measuring 33 inches, this bat has a light-colored ring at the end of the barrel, rather than the typical dark tip. The bat's handle features tiny, factory-created grooves for improved grip, something we have not encountered before.
