Fascinating collection of images of Last King of Italy Humbert II and his father Victor Emmanuel III. Humbert II: there are a ton of excellent portraits (beautiful), his wedding to Princess Jose of Belgium, with famous persons such as the Pope, skiing, Pope Pius funeral, attending performance at the Coliseum and more. Victor Emmanuel III: many with Mussolini, including his firing Mussolini, abdicating his throne, with his son, with other royalty at his son's wedding and many more. There are also many from other members of this royal family including Princess Jose of Belgium (individually), Queen Helena, Funereal of the Queen Mother Margherita and more. About 3/4's (maybe more) are the son and about are the father. Vast majority are from the 1920's and 1930's. Original paper captions and wire service stamps on verso. Overall EX+and 6x8".
