Impressive collection of 30 images and even a superb piece of original art. The Great Dissenter was one of the greatest Supreme Court Justices we ever produced. The highlights include: on his 85th birthday, administers oath of office to Charles Evan Hughes, arriving home to Boston in wheelchair, with Justices Stone and Brandeis, oldest Justice ever, desperately ill, nation's funeral wreath on his door, posed with Justice Hughes, at his grave with his fellow Justices surrounding, and President FDR at his grave. Since they are all early pieces (1920's and 30's) they are all beautiful. Best of all is a piece of original published newspaper art by Dunand (pen and ink is magnificent 12x7" and EX+). Original paper captions and stamps. EX, some publishing marks. Overall 6x8".
