Three Negro League Publications

Three Negro League Publications

Here is a fascinating snapshot into a bygone era in sports: a mid-1940s Baltimore Eltie Giants vs. Brooklyn Bushwicks program (the Bushwicks were not a Negro League team but played against many teams in the circuit at the time). There is scoring inside with an inserted lineup. Roy Campanella is notably on roster for the Giants and the program is in VG condition. Second, there is a program for the 1950 Cleveland Buckeyes vs. Baltimore Elite Giants game, which is scored with penciled-in lineups and is in Good condition. There is also a rare, 1956 Cuban-American baseball guide in VG condition that includes a glossy, 5" x 7" photo of Orestes Minoso. All three booklets feature vintage advertisements.
