Nat and Lou Turofsky spent three decades photographing the NHL's Original six teams, creating a visual history of the league that captured more than simply game action but the essence of the men who played it. This shot of ill-fated Maple Leaf defenseman Tim Horton, for example, reveals a rock-jawed, cocky guy with a buzzcut and eyebrows merging over the bridge of his nose. On back is the Turofsky studio stamp and typed biographical tidbits of Horton. 6.5 x 8.5" and NRMT with dotting on top from the original negative.
