Trail of the Stanley Cup Presentation Book Set

Trail of the Stanley Cup Presentation Book Set

The 3-volume "Trail of the Stanley Cup," is the most exhaustive history of the NHL through 1967. Written by Charles L. Coleman and published by the league in '66, '69 and '76, each book has over 800 pages crammed with summaries, standings, game stories, photos and illustrations by the author. Vol. 1 covers 1893-1926, Vol. 2 1927-46, Vol. 3 1947-67. This magnificent presentation set has an elegant engraved Stanley Cup in gold on each black leather cover, and Vol. 3 is encased in a black box/sleeve. All volumes EX-NRMT with flawless inside pages and damage only on the box. Also a signed letter from the author to a reader expressing doubts about doing a Vol. 4, understandable given the incredible work he put into the trilogy.
