Turn of the Century "Klondike Paint" Gold Rush Tin Sign

Turn of the Century "Klondike Paint" Gold Rush Tin Sign

From the Klondike Paint Company comes this incredibly vibrant advertising piece. It's over 100 years old and has been beautifully restored. Made of tin, it appears as a framed painting of a Wild West Gold Rush era motif. Across the top is the name of the company with a pastoral painting of two gentlemen panning for gold at sunrise. Below them in each corner is a lovely lady painting around the house. One is painting the frame of a picture while the other paints a radiator. The product is referred to as "The Only Practical Gold And Aluminum Paint" and below that "Made By Baer Bros. New York." The entire item (20 x 14") is intricately drawn and embossed in beautiful colors. An outstanding period piece.
