Two Great Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Photographs
Two very rare shots of the Babe, one from 1928 as he greets the leader of a squadron that had flown across the Atlantic. Curiously, Lou Gehrig stands behind Babe waiting his turn, his hat held in a way that makes it seem he wants to hide his face. The other shot is of Ruth in his 1st Yankee season, 1920, clowning around with a tuba from a school band before a game in Philadelphia. Each captioned and stamped on the back by the wire service that issued it, Wide World and Ledger. Both EX-NRMT.
