He is the subject of the most famous baseball action photo in all of history (July 23, 1910 - stealing third in New York). The Georgia Peach, shown here in this fabulous action shot, is leaping with outstretched glove after a fly ball. Taken by famed sports photographer, George Burke, the photo boasts a prominent black fountain pen signature from Ty Cobb in the boldest thickest ink imaginable - nearly perfect, grading a “9.5” out of a possible 10.
