Uncle Sam "I Want You" WWI Poster
The greatest, most widely recognized symbol of American patriotism is this image of Uncle Sam taken from James Montgomery Flag's 1916 painting. Print on linen was created in an effort to, again, pique the conscience of Americans during WWII, and to incite the youth to enlist in the Army. Excellent condition with only minor wrinkling can easily be fixed if mounted on linen. Poster is 27 x 37" and in its frame is 30 x 42". This poster commonly sells in the low five figures.
