Victor Starffin Vintage Photograph
Victor Starffin is one of the most important baseball players you've probably never heard of. Rare image shows Starffin circa 1949 playing for the Daiei Stars at Korakuen Stadium, Tokyo. He was the first player to win 300 games in Japanese baseball and the first foreign-born to be elected to the Japanese Baseball Hall Of Fame. His untimely death in a 1960 car accident adds to his eternal youth and immortal legend. This photo measures 9.5x7".
