Vince Lombardi "Run To Daylight" Signed Book
A very special copy of Lombardi's best-selling 1963 book "Run to Daylight!" blessed by the gridiron genius's rare and near-perfect signature on the title page. Insribed in blue ink it reads "To John from Vince Lombardi." One of the best football books ever (co-written by SI's W.C. Heinz), the book covers a week in the life of the Packers as they prepared for a game, ranging from Lombardi's obsession to win (he compares it to "a habit-forming drug") to his wolfing down 3 hamburgers in one day at Proski's diner. 9th edition hardbound copy from April 1968, in NRMT condition. Original dustjacket has only minimal fraying mainly on the top and bottom edges of the spinal section. Signature obtained in person by Chicago area sportswriter.
