Vintage Acoustic Guitars (2)
Nice duet of vintage acoustic guitars owned by rock photographer Joe Sia. Included is an early 1940s National Resonating Steel Guitar. This art deco “Collegian” model has beautiful tone and a nickel brass plated body. Overall condition is VG-EX. There has been a repair made to the lower front right of the body that does not affect tone. The lot is completed with a 1968 Martin Model D35 in NRMT condition. Gorgeous wood veneers, chrome tuning pegs and mellow tone makes this Martin a truly outstanding acoustic instrument.
