This Vintage Sepiatone photo of Bobby Jones from the 1925 Open in Worcester, MA depicts the legendary golfer's classic swing.From 1923-1930, Jones won at least one national championship every year and 13 of 21 major championships he entered.Jones never took a formal golf lesson and competed as an amateur his entire career. In 1926 he was the first amateur to win both the U.S. and British Open and received a ticker taped parade down Broadway in NYC. In 1930, jones won the U.S.Open, British Open and Amateur Championships later dubbed "Grand Slam" and amazingly retired one month later at age 28. The photo is in good condition and measures 6" x 8 ." There is a 1 1/2 " tear in upper right corner and small piece missing from white border.
