The blonde fiberglass Hespeler HMP 5500 “Stiff” model, which is amazingly light and must have felt like a stick of butter in his strong hands, is 54” from black “Gripper”-covered knob and lower handle to black tape-wrapped blade. Great bonus is the profound NRMT signature of the man himself above the blade in black marker reading, “Wayne Gretzky #99”. Stick shows nice use especially at the lower end, with marks, paint residue and dirtying on the tape around the blade. Terrific Gretzky stick.
