The Giants won the National League pennant that with a record of 97 wins and 57 losses and then defeated the Cleveland Indians in the World Series; it was the team's final World Series championship until 2010. 7x9" photograph features an eager Willie Mays all dressed and ready to start the World Series. Hand written notations include "9/28/54" and "ready for Indians in Series." Encapsulated PSA Type I, from the Brown Brothers collection.
