1858 Pioneer Baseball Club Medal

One of the earliest baseball pieces you will ever see. One side is an early raised image of a player wearing long pants (pre-knickers) and the words, "Pioneer Base Ball Club." Other side is "Organized April 30, 1858 Play Ground On Hampden Park Springfield, Mass." Lovely crossed bats design. In a copper finish in NRMT condition. Ex-Barry Halper Collection.
