1870 Philadelphia Athletics Jumbo Carte-de-visite

Only one known of this fabulous specimen. This was transitional between the use of CDV’s and the beginning of cabinet cards, and is approximately twice the size of a normal CDV (cardboard measures 4x5”, actual mounted team photo is 3.25x3.25”). Stunning relic is Near Mint and displays the photos of F.G. Malone, W.D. Fisler, T.J. Pratt, J. Sensenderfer, H.C. Schafer, Thos. Berry, G. Bechtel, J. Radcliffe, A.J. Reach, and J.D. McBride in the center. Graphics read, “1870 Athletic B.B.C.” Near Mint condition.
