1888 NY Giants Cigar Label

The 1888 New York Giants and their World Series win are remembered fondly by this illustrated cigar label for Sporting Times Cigar. Manager Jim Mutrie is illustrated in the middle surrounded by his team that included Buck Ewing, Tim Keefe, Mickey Welch, Jim Mutrie, Roger Connor, James O'Rourke, John Ward and more. The label features the entire roster listing on the bottom, notified by numbers next to each player on the illustration. There is a rip on the lower right corner of the label that is also stained by dark material and there is some writing on the back. Measures 7 1/2"x4 1/2" on nice heavy stock. An impressive piece despite edge damage.
