1907 World Series Full Ticket at Detroit
You can be certain that this one exists only in absolute scarcity. Begotten from the third World Series in history, when the Chicago Cubs reigned supreme, performing a 5-Game sweep of the Detroit Tigers. This fabulous unused ticket, printed Game 2 in Detroit of the 1907 World Series is the first that we have ever seen. Ticket is actually for the World Series finale, Game 5 in Bennett Park, Detroit (this was the second game played at Detroit, but Game 5 of the Series). Cost was $2.50. Monumentally significant gray ticket measures 3.75x1.75” and appears NRMT, but upon close examination, a crease is visible.
