1910s Football Folk Art Painting
This oil on canvas piece is about a century old and features a helmeted player emerging from a giant football with two smaller players at the base, one pulling the ball's laces. Measuring 14" x 20", the artwork shows some foxing to the surface of the canvas and is signed on the back: "L. Mann" although we are not sure if he is indeed the artist.
