1933 Michigan Football Display with Gerald Ford
This one-of-a-kind photographic montage of the 1933 Michigan Wolverines football squad features Gerald Ford at the bottom right-hand corner. The photographs, which are mounted on the board, are all vintage, first-generation examples in EX condition. The board itself is VG with a small piece missing from the paper identifying the team. The lot also includes an impressive 1920s felt pennant in VG condition - missing one tassel and a tip - and a slightly water-damaged book chronicling the history of Michigan football from its inception in 1879 through 1968. The large, bound book measures 16" x 20", the 1933 poster is 21" x 15.5" and the pennant 28.5" x 11.5".
