1920 "Curse of the Bambino" Document Pledging Fenway Park to the NY Yankees

1920 "Curse of the Bambino" Document Pledging Fenway Park to the NY Yankees

Fresh to the market document with thrilling content. These are the signed minutes from the meeting where the Boston Red Sox pledge the land that Fenway Park sits on. This is to secure the $300,000.00 loan for the purchase of George Herman "Babe" Ruth! The directors of the Red Sox execute a "$300,000.00 mortgage." They even name the owner of the Yankees Jacob Ruppert multiple times in the document and of course Red Sox owner Harry Frazee as well. Basically if the Red Sox defaulted on the loan the Yankees would own the land that Fenway Park sits on! Signed by secretary W.J. Herman and contains two small holes going through each page in the margins.
