Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig remain giants in the game: two pillars of one of the most storied and winning franchises in all of sports. Signed in 1928, the ball comes from a time when the Yankees were in the nascent stages of their gradual ascent to sports immortality, and Ruth and Gehrig were the cornerstone of the team. A year earlier, the Yanks' lineup had been dubbed "Murderer's Row," with Ruth slugging 60 home runs and Gehrig notching 175 RBIs en route to a World Series victory, which they won again in 1928. Ruth's signature (5/10) appears on the sweet spot along with quotes, while Gehrig's (2/10) can be found on the panel right next to Ruth's with a lengthy inscription, which is visible but not legible. The ball is a Barnard Reach OAL and its condition is 4/10. Comes with PSA LOA.
