Renowned jewelry from one of the best teams the Pacific Coast League ever produced. This 1927 Oakland Oaks team (shown in the 10x15” team photo) won the pennant in ’26 & ’27. They are holding a sign in front which reads, “Oaks Champions, 1928” (their title as champions carried over to the next season, however the defending champions could not overcome the SF Seals). 18-Karat gold broach is highlighted by a diamond in the center surrounded by the words, “Pacific Coast League Champions, 1928”. Original screw-backing intact, EX-MT. The name, “George E. Howard" engraved onto the back. Includes sterling pin (1”) with triangular leaf perimeter and baseball in center with “Oaks” engraved onto it. Slight tarnishing to pin back. EX.
