The Big Train oversees the troops during his second year as the team's manager. It's a fabulous, crystal-clear study that transports the viewer back seven decades in an instant. Some wrinkling at the edges does little to detract. Certainly the fact that the photo was mounted to a heavy backing has served to keep it in stronger condition than it may otherwise have been.
