1930s Wrigley Field Porcelain Ticket "Exchanges" Sign
This incredibly rare one-of-a-kind ticket sign comes from Chicago's venerable Wrigley Field, and dates circa 1930s. This lot contains an 11x14" green tickets sign, with white letters proclaiming "EXCHANGES" and listing prices for exchanging tickets for 55 cents. All porcelain baked-on metal, it is in beautiful condition with slight chips to the paint at the top and bottom, hardly surprising considering its exposure to the elements in the Windy City. A rare piece of Chicago baseball history. came from one of the sales of Wrigley artifacts back in the 1970s. We have seen another nearly identical ticket sign with slightly different pricing and offering. 100% authentic.
