1987 Rafael Palmeiro Chicago Cubs Game Worn Rookie Jersey
After a cup of coffee at the end of the 1986 season, Rafael Palmeiro batted .276 in 84 games in 1987, his "official" rookie campaign. This all original Cubs home jersey belonging to the slugger is a pull-over style with Cubs logo on the front and Cubbie patch on the left sleeve. His number "25" adorns the back, and there is Rawlings Size 40 tagging, along with a "25 87 2 40" strip tag in the collar. It displays very nice use from the first baseman and left fielder, who racked up 569 home runs and 1,865 RBI over his formidable 20-year career. Long-suffering Cubs fans now celebrating the fruits of victory should be especially drawn to this beauty.
