1934 US Tour Of Japan Team Signed Ball with Moe Berg

1934 US Tour Of Japan Team Signed Ball with Moe Berg

In 1934, Judge Kenesaw "Mountain" Landis arranged a tour of major league ballplayers to Japan and the Phillipines. The sticker on the covering for this ball indicates that it once resided in the Barry Halper collection. the official American League (Harridge) ball has 18 signatures, and while some are faded badly, the likes of legends such as Connie Mack, Jimmie Foxx and Lefty Gomez - in addition to Moe Berg - are still clearly visable. Signatures generally rate from about 4 to 7/10 and while the ball has clearly been handled over the years it remains in Very Good condition.
