1940's Sugar Ray Robinson Fight Worn Trunks

1940's Sugar Ray Robinson Fight Worn Trunks

Sugar Ray Robinson was as close to perfection as a prizefighter can get. Sweet as sugar, and as consistent a winner as there ever was, Walker Smith reigned supreme for 25 years, winning his first 40 fights as a pro until he lost to Jake LaMotta. After that one single defeat, Robinson didn’t lose for the next 8 years, tallying a mere 19 career defeats, 16 of which occurred after 1955. These black Everlast fight trunks with red trim are about the best piece of Sugar Ray Robinson’s legacy that exists. Showing great use and wear, they were worn by the Hall of Famer for a fight while he was dominating pound-for-pound during the 1940's. Slight bleeding onto the Everlast manufacture tag on the center waistband. Comes with LOA from the Robinson family.
