1940s Guy Lombardo Concert Poster
Here's to the "Days of Auld Lang Syne." Bandleader and violinist Guy Lombardo is the headliner in this 14" x 22" promotional poster for a 1942 concert. The sign, which shows a few creases and normal wear to classify as VG in condition, is distinguished by its Christmas color scheme of red and green. It reads: "ONE NIGHT ONLY - 8:30 TO MIDNITE THURSDAY APRIL 9 BRADFORD HOTEL BOSTON, MASS (MAIN BALLROOM) IN PERSON THE SWEETEST MUSIC THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN - GUY LOMBARDO AND HIS ROYAL CANADIANS." A terrific tribute to the man affectionately known as "Mr. New Year's Eve."
