1941 Metronome's All-Star Band Advertising Poster

The Metronome All-Stars were a collection of jazz musicians assembled for studio recordings by Metronome Magazine, based on its readers' polls between 1939 and 1956. This ad with great graphics measures roughly 20.5x10.5" and proclaims: "IT'S GOT EVERYBODY, METRONOME'S ALL-STAR BAND PLAYS BUGLE CALL RAG AND ONE O'CLOCK JUMP ON VICTOR RECORD NO. 27314... LIST PRICE 50-CENTS." The featured artists are: Buddy Rich, Charlie Christian, Toots Mondello, Ziggie Elman, Art Bernstein, Cootie Williams, J.C. Higginbotham, Count Basie, Harry James, Tex Beneke, Benny Carter, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey and Coleman Hawkins. The poster was folded in the middle but otherwise is in EX-MT condition.
