In 1941, a 16-year-old girl named Rosemary LaPlanche was crowned Miss America. But prior to the pageant, signs like this rare window card promoted the "preliminary contest" and the "national finals at Atlantic City from September 1-7". The poster measures 13.75' x 22". Promising "beauty and talent on parade," the sign reveals some water staining and edge wear, as well as a few pinholes. VG.
