1949 National League All-Star Team Signed Baseball with Program
New York City has hosted a record nine major league All-Star games, and the only one ever played in Brooklyn produced one of the highest-scoring Mid-Summer Classics as the American League prevailed, 11-7. Here we have an official National League (Frick) baseball in EX-MT condition with 24 All-Star autographs. Included are: Campanella, Musial, Jackie Robinson, Mize, Spahn, Hodges, Slaughter, Kiner, Thomson and Branca. The signatures average 6/10. The Official program was the personal property of Red Schoendienst, who represented the Cardinals that year. The book is in very nice condition and unscored. There is one crease at the bottom-right corner.
