Ty Cobb and Heinie Manush Signed Baseballs

Ty Cobb and Heinie Manush Signed Baseballs

Most likely given to Hall of Fame second baseman Red Schoendienst by a fan, these balls predate a 1950s lunch meeting with baseball legend Ty Cobb and are each marked with the date of 7/4/25. The oficial American League ball has a 4/10 Cobb signature on a panel and dated on another panel in another hand. The second ball is signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Heinie Manush and also appears to be an American League model but the labels have worn off. Shows a game-used appearance with dark black "Heinie Manush" on the sweet spot. It appears that there were other signatures or writings on the ball but they have faded beyond recognition. Parts of the signature appear to be enhanced. An intriguing lot, to say the least.
