1954 Cleveland Indians American League Champions Cufflinks/Earrings
Sixty years ago, the Cleveland Indians posted the best record in baseball but were swept by the New York Giants in the World Series. Though they would have much rather slipped on some championship rings, the team did hand out these distinctive cufflinks to the players and team officials, but they could be transformed into a set of earrings without the fronts being affected at all. The 14K gold Balfour cufflinks are in the shape of a baseball diamond with Chief Wahoo's face gracing the center, "1954" at the top and "Cleveland Indians" along the third and first-base lines, respectively. On the reverse is engraved: "AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS ALL-TIME RECORD 111 GAMES WON." These items are in EX-MT to NRMT condition and feature real diamonds. It would take 41 years for the Tribe to return to the Fall Classic, though they would fall yet again, this time to the Atlanta Braves.
