1954 Frank Sinatra Signed Contract
1950 saw the airing of the Frank Sinatra Show. Unlike his career, it was short-lived despite its having Sid Fields aboard. Fields was most famous as Mr. Fields on the Abbott and Costello TV series. This lot consists of two pieces, a Sinatra signed contract and a photo of Frankie against a background of a drawn Waldorf Astoria and crescent moon. The contract is the star of this particular show. It’s a typed letter to Old Blue Eyes, dated March 24, 1950 sent by Universal Pictures in the hope of securing permission from Sinatra to use his name in the dialogue of a script. The letter shows Sinatra’s signature in blue ink, agreeing to his name being dropped. A one of kind signed document and photo for any “Chairman of the Board” memorabilia stalker.
