1956 Elvis Presley "No Wiggle Show" Unused Ticket

1956 Elvis Presley "No Wiggle Show" Unused Ticket

Due to his gyrating body and suggestive pelvic thrusts, Elvis Presley's stage presence offended many conservative Americans. In one particular instance, the Louisville chief of police issued a "no wiggle rule" prior to The King's November 25, 1956, performance in that town, so as to halt "any lewd, lascivious contortions that would excite the crowd." Here's an unused ticket from that show, during which Elvis abided by the local edict and played it safe. PSA.
