Before he became Muhammad Ali “the Greatest”, Cassius Clay was punching through contenders in Golden Gloves matches. These two framed pieces hail from these early days in his career. First up is a 1959 AAU Championship program cover, framed with original "Final Night" lineup sheet with Cassius Clay listed in the 178 lbs. class. His name is circled to indicate that he won. Second frame contains a full ticket to the Chicago Golden Gloves finals held on March 11, 1959 in Chicago, employee pass for the March 25 events, program cover for the March 25 events, Cassius Clay page from the program and Golden Gloves participants medal. Overall condition is EX.
