1960s-'70s Counter Culture Original Negatives from the San Francisco Examiner (240+ images)

Amazing original negatives of the 1960s-70s counterculture including the Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco. There is some great stuff here including Abbie Hoffman speaking in San Francisco (1970), streets of Haight-Ashbury with the streets closed to traffic because of the hippies, Jerry Ruben & Tom Hayden, Marijuana growing in Golden Gate Park, Lake Amador Rock Festival, police raid of Haight-Ashbury and many more. Sizes are 2.25" and 35mm. All of these are from the photo archive of the San Francisco Examiner newspaper which we purchased a decade ago directly from the owners. These have remained unnoticed in storage since then and are now being brought out for the first time.
